Ekuwah Mends Moses

Ekuwah Mends Moses is an author, illustrator, and K-5 Engineering teacher working with Edumatch Publishing and Clark County School District. She was born in Warrensburg, Missouri, and earned a BA in Elementary and Early Childhood Education from the University of Central Missouri. She has a MA in Teaching and Learning - Elementary Reading from Nova Southeastern University. She is a published International Literacy Association and an Edumatch author. My Name is an Address is her debut nonfiction picture book and it was an Amazon #1 new release. Her second picture book is entitled, Mama's Portraits and Me: The Legacy, Life, and Love of Artist Carolyn Coffield Mends. Moses has taught for over 20 years in the Clark County School District, in Las Vegas, Nevada. Due to the teacher shortage, Ekuwah is teaching K-5 Engineering and enjoys facilitating design challenges. She previously worked as a Family Engagement Facilitator, Performance Zone Instructional Coach, K-5 Literacy Specialist, and Learning Strategist. Ekuwah values spending quality time with her husband and two teenagers. Other keynote presenters will be announced closer to the conference.
